Every child needs love, care, and attention in order to grow up to be strong, healthy, and well-rounded adults. Sadly, not every child has this opportunity. According to UNICEF, an estimated 100+ million children worldwide have lost either one or both of their parents.
While many of their peers can feel secure enough to learn, play and grow, orphaned children struggle with their most basic needs: food, shelter and love. These innocent children suffer through no fault of their own, and often have no one to turn to. But if we act together, we can be there for them.
